Restic client role

Configures Restic client backup jobs.

Usage

Configure the role.

Install command line tools

The installation script requires that you have sudo access to root.

Run curl -L https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mint-system/ansible-build/master/roles/restic_client/files/install | bash in your terminal.

Show restic version

Show restic version for alls hosts.

ansible all -i inventories/setup -a "restic version"

Setup a local repository

Set these env vars for local repsitory:

restic_repo_type: local # default: rest
restic_repo: /home/Backuplocal

Delete all snaphots

Run these commands to remove all snapshots:

restic forget --keep-last 1 --prune
restic forget --prune latest
